Head, inc Ears

Lovely well balanced head of perfect proportions. Profile shows good deep chin, slightly uneven bite and nose which requires a little more dip. Ears medium in size and well set.

Good head type. Well set ears of correct size.

Broad medium wedge. High cheek bones. Full broad muzzle, a level bite and a firm chin! Ears a touch tall but well set and tilting forward.

Broad head with rounded contours, small in proportion to body. Gentle curve in profile, nice chin.

Eyes

Oval in shape and correctly set.

Eyes good shape and colour.

Full, green and a nice shape.

Oval, slightly slanted.

Body, inc legs and feet

Long very sleek and muscular and feeling strong.

Excellent condition. Muscular.

Well constructed with wonderful bone and muscle tone. Legs and paws nice.

Sleek muscular body, good depth of flank. Strong limbs, so powerfully built.

Tail

A little on the long side, although even, moderately thick round tip

Correct

A bit long and slender.

Medium length. Thick and even.

Coat

Short in length, not particularly dense but moderately soft to the touch.

Excellent texture. Warm colour.

Very dense, soft and quite luxurious to the touch.

Colour/Pattern

Colour bright gold base coat with clear black, brown and old gold swirling pattern. Beautifully marked face, limbs and tummy pale cream.

Well marked.

Golden base. Beautiful marbled pattern (3 colours) down body in a nice horizontal flow. Legs marbled and spotted. Gold dusting evident

Superb rich colouring with breathtaking clear markings.

Temperament and condition

Superb on both counts.

A really lovely chap. A joy to judge and beautifully presented and totally clear of ticking!
